SIMSALABIM was imported at the age of 6 months by Bannockburn Farm and his first keuring appearance was made as a two-year old when he won the BWP/NAD two year old Futurity with a score of 77. SIM was provisionally approved in 1998 for stallion service. In 2001 he was fully approved by completing his performance requirements through showjumping; the first stallion to do this for the BWP/NAD. His jumping pedigree is unmatched as it contains four International jumping stallions. NONSTOP , ridden by Nelson and Rodrigo Pessoa ; DARCO , 7th in the Olympics in Barcelona and ridden by Ludo Philippaerts ; FEINSCHNITT , 10th in the Olympics at L.A. and JASPER , ridden by Hugo Simon as well as foundation stallions COR DE LA BRYERE , LORD , LADYKILLER XX and COTTAGE SON XX.
After winning two championships and a reserve championship at A shows in 2001 SIM continued his career with his rider Stefanie Furgason - Collier , 1998 AGA Rookie of the Year . In 2002 SIMSALABIM had two third place finishes in two 10,000 Mini-Prix and got third place in Get of Sire at Dressage at Devon with two yearlings Blue Bayou B and Black Magic B . In 2003 and 2004 SIM continued his show career placing well in multiple classes on the A circuit at level 6 and 7. In 2005 after attaining level 8 in showjumping and showing in several Grand Prix , SIM came home and has stayed on the farm in order to fulfill his stallion duties.

The first two foals born on the farm by SIM were born in the A year ( 2000 ) and were named ALI BABA B and ABRACADBRA B.

ALI BABA B is presently owned by Dr. Audrey Narducci and is being trained by Susan Posner. He is ridden by both his owner and his trainer. In 2006 ALI BABA B was zone 2 training level champion and won the USDF Vintage cup.In 2007 he scored many rides above a 70% and at the Paxton Farm Spring Show was in 9 classes at 1st and 2nd level , won 8 of them and took 2nd place in the other.
At the Kentucky Dressage Association Spring show he was in 9 classes and received 7 1sts and 2 2nds . He was 1st Level Champion , 2nd Level Champion , Adult Amateur Champion and Reserve Musical Freestyle Champion.
Ali Baba B attained the highest median score in the nation ( 72.326 ) at second level out of the thousands of horses showing at that level and as a result is USDF second level HORSE OF THE YEAR for 2007.
He was also Region 4 first Level Champion and second level champion. In 2010 Ali Baba B made the cover of the BWP/NAD Belgian Warmbood Stallion & Breeding Guide to be sold from the BWP booth at the 2010 World Equestrian Games.

SIMSALABIM has sired two provisionally approved stallions , the first of which was born in the 2001 B class. His name is BLUE BAYOU B and he is owned by Barbara Hansen. Although BLUE has had jumper training, he is working on his stallion performance requirements through dressage. BLUE BAYOU B was 5th in the USA for the HORSE OF THE YEAR program for the USDF as a two-year old . He also showed at Devon with BLACK MAGIC B when they were yearlings and placed third in both the get of sire class and third in the breeders class.
At this time, Blue is in training with Kim and Yvonne Barteau and is ridden by Endel Ots. He will be showing the summer of 2009 and 2010.

Black Magic B is still on the farm and will hopefully be a brood mare. That is if we can ever get her pregnant. She was very successful at Dressage at Devon and is the favorite of both Bo Jena ( who showed her at Devon ) and TJ Clibborn who started her. She is a lovely mover and will be for sale if we are not successful in getting her in foal. CIELO B is the other provisionally approved stallion that Sim has produced. He is owned by Rising Star Farm in Texas and is fulfilling his performance requirements through show jumping . You will see him in the Young Jumper Championship Series for the next several years. Cielo B is now fully licensed with the BWP and capped off 2009 by winning the jumping section of the 70 day test.

DANTE B is the youngest of Sim's performing horses. He is owned by Lauren Fox and was shown by Lisa Goldman. He was the winner of the 4 year old International Jumper Futurity for best performance at the Midwestern Finals at the Trader's Point Horse Show in 2007. He is showing under the name DOR V'DOR. In 2008, Dante B won the big 5 year old Young Jumper Champions class at WEF and only had 1 rail down in 3 classes at the Midwestern Finals in Lexington, Kentucky. Dante B won the $1000 Young Jumper 6 Year Old Championship in Chicago in 2009.

El Dorado B is presently owned by Steph St. John, who showed him recently at the Lamplight Outdoor Horse Show, where he won the Low Jumper Classic his first time out! The pictures show him in the 6 year old jumpers with professional Sari Polakow riding.

Gemstone B has now been to her first schooling show and she won the hack class. We are looking forward to watching her in Baby Green Hunters this year.
