BANNOCKBURN FARM LLC began a Warmblood Sport Horse breeding program in 1993. Concentrating on Olympic-based bloodlines and researching competitions all over the world we came up with a list of international stallions which we felt we needed in the pedigrees of our breeding stock. They were LUGANO VAN LA ROCHE, COR DE LA BRYERE, RAMIRO Z, ALME Z, LANDGRAF and LORD all warmbloods and LADYKILLER, COTTAGE SON , FURIOSO, NASRULLAH, and NATIVE DANCER all Thoroughbreds. Since then we have added NIMMERDOR, VOLTAIRE, PILOT and BOLD RULER to that list. Although the insemination process is not always easy, especially with overseas frozen semen, we have more confidence each year in our original selections as they continue to produce international winners.

             In 1996 the German gold medal team at the Atlanta Olympics included RATINA Z by RAMIRO Z, dam's sire ALME Z ; JUS DE POMME who was also the individual gold medal winner , dam's dam's sire ALME Z and FOR PLEASURE, sire's sire FURIOSO XX. LA INA by LUGANO VAN LA ROCHE was European show jumping champion and winner of the $750,000 Spruce Meadows Masters. They continue to this day to produce outstanding winners in show jumping . In the 2000 WORLD CUP held at Las Vegas, Nevada U.S.A. There were two horses by DARCO by LUGANO VAN LA ROCHE That were 5th and 9th in the final results.

             We raise from 5 to 10 foals per year and sell horses from foals to four-year olds. They begin free-jumping and round-pen work at two years. They are also shown in hand as both yearlings and two-year olds. We have for sale horses by BRANCO, EROS, OLYMPIC CONCORDE, OLYMPIC FERRO, FRAVEL(sold), GAMBIT (sold), INDOCTRO (sold), MARCEL, REBEL IZ, and SIMSALABIM. 

             All horses are registered with the BWP/NAD and the PERFORMANCE HORSE REGISTRY. The foals are branded in their first year with the Belgian Warmblood Brand. Starting with the 1997 foal class they will have F.E.I. International Passports.
